Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This is one of four of small paintings, I did for the Terror Expo in San Antonio, I had four 7"x14" canvases and I wanted to do something with them, I like the idea of close up monsters, so here is the first one.
About Al Molina
Born and raised in Corpus Christi TX, I've been an Artist from the time I could hold a pencil, and I've kept it up ever since, I started with black and white pencil sketches and slowly moved to pastels and prismacolors, it wasn't till a couple of years ago that I took up painting after I saw a painting on Ebay that I wanted to buy, I decided to paint it myself and thus began the love affair that is Acrylics, it has become my passion. to create something on a blank canvas and bring it to life.
