Artist's Description

This image started off as a small canvas 2.5"x 3.5" but I like the way it turned out that I had to make it bigger, so I repainted the image on an 8"x10" this is part of a series I'm going to call "Hello Doll Face" , the girls will look a little more like a cartoon, with big eyes and full lips, there will be more than just Day of the Dead images, they will be a little more like a cute pin-up style art.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi TX, I've been an Artist from the time I could hold a pencil, and I've kept it up ever since, I started with black and white pencil sketches and slowly moved to pastels and prismacolors, it wasn't till a couple of years ago that I took up painting after I saw a painting on Ebay that I wanted to buy, I decided to paint it myself and thus began the love affair that is Acrylics, it has become my passion. to create something on a blank canvas and bring it to life. It truly is euphoric More of my work can also be seen on my facebook fan page: Art by Al Molina , also tee shirts with my artwork is available at: www.oldschool85.com , stop by and drop me a line.
